"Southwest-facing unit on the top floor of a four-unit building. Potentially quieter than other units in the building due to its mid-block placement. Relative privacy, with no nearby units immediately to the south. Two washers and two dryers in the basement connect to an app for payment, real-time availability, and notification when your loads have completed. Good location one block from the Clay "slow street," a Bay Rides bike rental station, and the Presidio library. The shops of Sacramento street are a block away, with butcher shop and small market of Laurel Heights just a short walk away. Presidio is a few blocks uphill. The 1X express bus enters express service from California & Presidio just a few blocks away for quicker access to downtown offices than other bus routes. The Jewish Community Center at California & Presidio offers monthly and daily memberships to access its fitness center and pools. Wi-Fi for the unit was provided in the living room, to the left of a television in the photos. Wi-Fi during my stay was provided by a single Xfinity xFi Advanced Gateway similar to the XB7. A set of eero routers was in a drawer but not yet setup, potentially indicating future plans to improve speeds in the office and bedroom. Heat is provided through an in-wall gas heater located between the kitchen and the living room and controlled through an analog slider near the entrance from the hallway. The top floor, south-facing unit provides some privacy and extra sunlight. You'll also be walking up three sets of stairs to access your fourth-floor unit. The bathroom is smaller than other units in the building and especially tight at the sink area. Street parking was reasonable, with street cleaning every other week. Street parking is limited to two hours, or three hours one block away, if you are not able to obtain a residential parking permit. A single-width laundry hamper was included in the unit, compared to the double-width and single-width in the unit's photos. The desk area did not include a laptop stand, later delivered after I provided feedback during my stay."
